The Executive Edge, Inc. (TEEI) was founded by Dionisio “Jun” R. Gil in September 1995, following an impressive track record of more than two decades of successful corporate leadership at Procter & Gamble and Gillette, covering South East Asian markets. In 2000, Maria Fatima “Patty” C. Gallardo joined him, bringing with her close to two decades of hands-on experience in executive search in Manila, Hong Kong and Jakarta.

Proudly carrying the brand name Amrop Philippines, TEEI was in a league of its own because the Philippines Partnership Office of The Amrop Hever Group - ranked among the top ten most reputable companies in Retained Executive Search worldwide - was the only global executive search entity with an on-the-ground presence in Manila.
The journey of TEEI / Amrop Philippines has been deliberate, its strategy clear and well-executed. The business has at all times focused on quality, talent and agility with the clear goal of connecting with clients and executive talents for the long haul. TEEI developed an organization manned by tenured and motivated professionals, notably a Research Team that has always been a critical partner to Consultants in making sure that client needs are clearly understood and satisfied. The Consultants and Research Team has developed deep and trusting relationships with clients and executive talents, a key strength in the successful conclusion of almost all search engagements.
The strong niche of TEEI / Amrop Philippines as a Retained Executive Search firm has remained its loyalty to clients, working exclusively for their senior management to C suite, thereby creating a solid reputation of dependability as a top-rate search firm. Throughout its 25 years history as Amrop Philippines, the firm’s dedicated approach and expertise resulted in Repeat Business year-on-year at well above 90% - a remarkable industry retention rate.
In 2021, The Executive Edge, Inc. left The Amrop Global SCRL after 25 years of exemplary membership. The decision to leave was prompted by the commercial impact of the pandemic, a development which has forced many other firms to change their business models or indeed cease business entirely.
Since January 31, 2022, The Executive Edge, Inc. has been even more intently focused on the Philippine market with a leaner organization that is tenured and operates with the same passion, ethical standards and professionalism that has enabled it to demonstrate Repeat Business performance above 90+%.
As we look forward to this year and the months and years ahead, we re-commit ourselves to being the professional and tireless search business partner to clients and executive talents alike.
